Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday (10.01.2014), urged the West to seek long-term solutions to end the crisis in Syria and Iraq.
Erdogan said hundreds of tons of bombs dropped against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) will only provide a temporary solution.
"Dropping hundreds of tons of bombs from the air is only a temporary solution and merely delay the threats and dangers of ISIS," Erdogan said in the presence of the Turkish parliament.
Erdogan said hundreds of tons of bombs dropped against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) will only provide a temporary solution.

"The world should know that Turkey is not a country that allowed him used to find a temporary solution," he added.
Erdogan's remarks came a day before parliament convenes to discuss the government's authority in order to deploy troops to Syria and Iraq.
After months reluctant to engage the battle against troublesome ISIS West, Turkey has now changed its policy and indicate willing to join the US-led international coalition.
So far Ankara has yet to decide what form of assistance given Erdogan even repeatedly called for the establishment of a buffer zone on the Turkish-Syrian border and is supported by the implementation of a no-fly zone to ensure safety.
"Turkey has no intention to interfere in the domestic affairs of another person or seize the territory of other countries. Yet regional peace and stability means peace and stability to Turkey," said Erdogan.
Justice and Development Party (AKP) has a number of seats that the ruling majority in parliament, but the opposition pushed Erdogan also give voice to this issue.
Turkey has been accused of playing a role in raising ISIS in Syria with its support for radical Islamic groups in the hope they could overthrow of President Bashar al-Assad.
The accusation was denied by Erdogan and emphatically asserted the country reject and do not support terrorism either on its territory, in the region or around the world.
